Grammar Patterns

-아서/어서 cause and reason (so / because)

連接兩個句子表示因果關係(因為A,所以B),前句為原因。母音ㅏ/ㅗ後用아서,其他用어서。

영화가 슬퍼서 울었어요. — I cried because the movie was sad.
날씨가 좋아서 기분이 좋아요. — I'm in a good mood because the weather is nice.
-(으)ㄹ 것 같다 guess / it seems

表示對情緒或情況的推測(「好像~/我覺得會~」)。子音後加을 것 같다,母音後加ㄹ 것 같다。

내일 시험이라서 긴장될 것 같아요. — I have an exam tomorrow, so I think I'll be nervous.
이 영화는 무서울 것 같아요. — This movie seems like it will be scary.
-게 되다 to come to / end up (change of state)

表示某種狀態或情緒是因環境而形成,而非出於本意(「變得~/結果~」)。在動詞或形容詞語幹後加게 되다。

한국에 살면서 김치를 좋아하게 됐어요. — Living in Korea, I came to like kimchi.
그 소식을 듣고 걱정하게 됐어요. — After hearing the news, I ended up worrying.
